The PalletOne Consensus Module has implemented Mediator's application, election and transition functions, and has completed the optimization, reconstruction and testing of relevant functional codes.

The specific performance of these functions is as follows:

1. The ordinary nodes apply for Mediator candidates;

2. All nodes in PalletOne network vote for candidate Mediator.

3. During the transition, all nodes rank the votes of all candidate Mediators and replace the current Mediators.

Mediator is an important part of DPoS consensus module in PalletOne network and plays the role of Unit Producer in PalletOne network. Mediator election and transition will play a vital role in maintaining the security of PalletOne network  and realizing the fairness and decentralization of blockchain network.
